At a distance of 57 Kms from Pollachi, 93 Kms from Palakkad and 98 Kms from Coimbatore, Parambikulam Dam is an embankment dam constructed on the Parambikulam River close to Parambikulam in Palakkad district of Kerala. It’s 21 Kms from Prime Slip and 47 Kms from Valparai.
Parambikulam Dam is the perfect in India and one of many prime ten embankment dams on this planet. The dam is positioned with in Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary and it’s surrounded by wealthy pure magnificence. It’s also a superb place for fowl watching. Boating is offered within the reservoir.
It’s a nice picnic spot to observe the character & benefit from the boating. Bus service is offered between Pollachi and Parambikulam, twice a day at 6:15 AM and three:15 PM (return buses at 8.45 AM & 5.45 PM).
Timings: The Dam is positioned in Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary and it is open between 7 AM to six PM.
