Archana Vijaya was born on 17 November 1982 in Kolkatta. She did her schooling at Bhawanipore college Kolkatta and completed her degree from the University of Kolkatta. She started her career as a host in Channel V. She won the supermodel reality TV show Get Gorgeous in Channel V. Archana is a big cricket fan and has hosted several cricket matches. She hosted the Neo Cricket India Bangladesh Series in 2015.  In the year 2011, she hosted the Audi Generation Football Cup and in 2012 she hosted a very popular cricket show IPL Season 6, which was aired on Set Max. She then hosted IIFA 2013. She was also hosting the show called Tour diary, where she travelled with the Indian cricketers to their different playing destinations.
