Anupama Prakash Kumar, better known as Anupama Kumar, is an Indian film actress and model. She has appeared in more than 300 ad films, She made her debut as an actress in the 2004 Hindi film Kyun..! Ho Gaya Na and then she went on to play the supporting roles in the Tamil films. Besides the acting and modeling, Anupama has also worked as a journalist, visualizer, anchor, and a television producer. Anupama Kumar was born on 4 December 1974. She is a Tamilian by birth, but she mostly lived in North India. She got married to G. Shivakumar, a Navy commander, and has one son, Aditya, with whom she currently resides in Chennai. She had been involved in the field of television for over thirteen years, working as the anchor, visualizer, journalist and even the producer. Later she started off into the modelling and acting career, featuring more than 300 commercials along with the likes of Shahrukh Khan and Mohanlal. She also appeared in several Hindi languages television series such as Kabhi Aaye Na Judaai, Mission Fateh, Shaka Laka Boom Boom and The Magic Make-Up Box as well. Her movie debut was made in 2004, when she accepted the offer to star in the Aishwarya Rai-starrer Kyun…! Ho Gaya Na in a Cameo.
