Abhishek Banerjee is a politician and a member of parliament from Diamond Harbour Lok Sabha constituency, West Bengal. Moreover, he is the nephew of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. In the year 2014, he won the Indian general election as an All India Trinamool Congress candidate. In that election, he defeated CPI-M’s Dr Abul Hasnat & BJP’s Abhijit Das Bobby.
