At a distance of 40 Kms from Chidambaram, the Sillappathikara Artwork Gallery is located in Poompuhar city.
The ‘Magara Thoranavayil’ on the entrance of the Artwork Gallery at a top of 22.5 ft imparts an imposing and delightful look to the entire construction. It has been designed on the sample of Magara Thorana Vayil, present in Suruli Malai Mangala Devi Koil. There may be additionally an anklet formed tank within the Artwork-Gallery.
